All Primary 2 children will have access to the computer suite where a range of skills will be taught. They will each be given a log on name and a password to gain access to their own pages. Simple internet sites will be used to reinforce literacy and numeracy concepts. Children will be encouraged to use the computers in the classroom and will use the interactive whiteboard and iPads across all areas of the curriculum.
Coding
Computer coding empowers children not only to consume digital media and technology, but to create it. Instead of simply playing a video game or using an app, children can imagine creating their own video game, or envisioning what their own website or app might look it.
