Outdoor Learning

The outdoor area provides young children with one of the best possible environments in which to learn. Within our school site we have a beautiful, mature woodland called Leafy Hollow. The children love getting dressed in their outdoor suits and exploring, climbing, building and learning in the forest. 

We love whittling sticks using potato peelers!

We had the perfect start to our Winter topic today with lots of fun in the snow! Afterwards in Art, we creat3d beautiful Winter scenes. ❄️☃️

Getting outside to Leafy Hollow is one of the highlights of our week!
