Welcome to Primary 2 2020/2021
I hope you are all staying safe and well in what can only be the strangest back to school term ever. The children have settled well back into the school routine after their long absence. They are happy to be back and to meet up with all their old friends and make memories. Along with Numeracy, Literacy and World Around Us we will discuss the safety and any worries with COVID in a child friendly way. We will continue delivering the PATHS programme which helps all our children develop confidence and resilience.
We will also spend time outdoors where they can make the most of the good weather in Leafy Hollow on a Wednesday morning and the Trim Trail. Over the school year, I will be putting up lots of pictures/videos of the children and will be adding links to computer games so the children can use to help reinforce concepts we have taught in class.
