Welcome to P7ZR, 

This year promises to be an exciting one for our P7 children, as we explore big ideas, develop new skills and get ready for the transition to secondary school!

Our learning themes include...

Japan

We will dive into Japanese culture, geography and history, whilst exploring traditional art such as The Great Wave by Hokusai.

Earth and Space

Our budding scientists will journey through the solar system, discovering planets, stars and galaxies, whilst carrying out experiments and investigations to deepen their understanding of space. 

Romans

In World Around Us, we will find out how the Romans shaped Britain and the wider world, from roads and aqueducts, to language and law. 

The Body & Healthy Living

We will investigate how the human body works and learn how to keep ourselves strong and healthy through food, exercise and positive choices. 

Looking Ahead

The P7 learning journey is also about building independence, leadership and teamwork. We are delighted that our P7 curriculum will facilitate the development of these skills, by providing the children with enriching opportunities such as a trip to Gortatole, swimming, PlayBoard NI, Healthy Kidz and many more.

We can't wait to see our pupils grow this year!
