The children have had a lovely, busy day both indoors and outdoors, and we’re excited to share some snapshots with you! Through their play, they’ve been developing a wide range of important skills. At the sand and water areas, the children explored pouring, filling, and mixing, helping to build their understanding of early maths concepts and cause and effect. Outdoors, they enjoyed riding tricycles, developing their balance, coordination, and confidence, while digging in the sand and playing in the mud kitchen encouraged creativity, imagination, and teamwork.The climbing frames supported their physical development and confidence, while the music wall allowed them to explore sounds, rhythm, and self-expression. Indoors, painting activities gave the children opportunities to be creative and express their ideas, and snack time encouraged independence and social skills as they chatted with their friends. It’s been a fun-filled day full of learning through play!
