Today we went back to Armagh County Museum for the launch of Little Bird Explores: A Place for Treasures, written by Kelsey Carroll and illustrated by Becky Stewart. The book was co-created by the museum and the children of Saints and Scholars Nursery, making it a very special project for everyone involved. The children shared their ideas for the story, along with their drawings and illustrations, and these were included throughout the book by the author and illustrator. We had a lovely session where Kelsey read the story to the children, and the children really enjoyed returning to the museum to celebrate the launch of the book together. We also played some fun parachute games, and it was lovely to have some mums and dads join us for the visit too.
