Today we scooped out our pumpkins and had great fun decorating them with paint and sparkles! The children loved exploring the textures and getting creative with their designs. This activity supported their fine motor skills as they scooped, brushed and sprinkled, and encouraged lots of language as they described what they could see, feel and smell. Working together helped develop turn-taking and social skills, while the open-ended nature of the task encouraged imagination and self-expression.
