Beauty and the Beast 2026
Pupils from Saints and Scholars Integrated Primary School took to the stage at the Marketplace Theatre on Wednesday 20th May to present their spectacular production of Beauty and the Beast.
After months of rehearsals, hard work and dedication, our talented cast and crew delivered two outstanding performances to packed audiences. The evening performance was completely sold out, with audience members rewarding the children with a well-deserved standing ovation at the end of the show.
From the opening scenes in the village to the spectacular musical numbers in the Beast’s castle, our pupils showcased incredible talent, confidence and enthusiasm. The quality of the acting, singing and dancing was exceptional, and the children should be immensely proud of what they achieved on one of the region’s most prestigious stages.
A production of this scale is only possible through teamwork, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated staff who went above and beyond to make the show such a success. Their countless hours spent rehearsing, organising costumes and props, coordinating technical arrangements and supporting the children ensured that every pupil had the opportunity to shine.
We are also grateful to our parents and families for their continued support throughout the rehearsal process and for helping the children prepare for their performances. The encouragement shown by our school community played a huge part in making the production such a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Most importantly, we would like to congratulate every child who took part. Their commitment, enthusiasm and determination were evident in every scene and song. The confidence, teamwork and resilience they developed throughout the process will remain with them long after the final curtain call.
Beauty and the Beast was a truly magical experience and a wonderful celebration of the talent that exists within Saints and Scholars IPS. We could not be prouder of our pupils and are already looking forward to our next whole-school production in 2028.
Well done to everyone involved!
