The children have been busy exploring a range of activities today. At the puzzles, they are developing fine motor skills, problem-solving and persistence. In the sand and water areas, they are investigating, pouring, measuring and experimenting, which supports early maths and science skills. Small world play and role play, such as playing with the baby dolls and making dinner, encourage imagination, storytelling and cooperation with friends. Nursery is all about learning these skills and building the foundations for future learning.
