Today the children enjoyed feather painting — something a little bit different! Using feathers instead of brushes helped them explore new textures and practice their fine motor skills while making lovely patterns and marks.
In PE, Coach Mark from Healthy Kidz led a brilliant balancing session. The children used the gymnastic climbing frames, walked along the benches, and practiced rolls and tumbles on the safety mats. They showed great confidence and body awareness!
Back in class during outdoor play, we continued the fun by creating our own balance beams using loose parts, crates and planks. The children designed their own little obstacle course and had a fantastic time negotiating the beams and supporting one another.
