Today the children enjoyed using the big and small heart shaped cutters with the playdough. They spent time pressing, cutting and making their own shapes. This helped them strengthen their fine motor skills and explore early maths ideas such as size and comparison, all through relaxed, open ended play.
A small group also worked together to make Rice Krispie buns for everyone to share for Valentine’s Day. They especially loved adding the sprinkles on top!
