As part of our People Who Help Us topic, our role-play area became a hospital! The children have loved using stethoscopes, bandages, and taking care of their “patients.” Through this play, they are learning about caring for others, taking turns, and developing their imagination and social skills.
We have also been enjoying tabletop games and jigsaws. While playing, they are learning to share resources and play cooperatively, take part in small group activities, develop independence by choosing and returning their own puzzles, and experience the satisfaction of completing a challenging jigsaw.
