Today the children got creative using Model Magic dough to make their own birds. They carefully shaped their models and added colourful feathers and googly eyes to bring them to life. We also looked at photographs of real birds to give us ideas and inspire our designs. This activity encouraged the children to observe features such as beaks, wings and colours, as well as building their fine motor skills through moulding and decorating the dough. The children were so proud of their fantastic creations — well done, everyone!
We also made pig collages using lots of pink materials and paint! They had fun layering different textures to create their pigs. This activity helped them practise their fine motor skills and explore colours and shapes in a creative way. The children really enjoyed seeing their pigs take shape!
