The children really enjoyed their outdoor play today. They are becoming very independent and are getting really good at putting on and taking off their waterproof suits by themselves. Because the weather is so unpredictable, we decided to wear them outside today, and the children managed this very well.
We also had a fantastic session with Coach Mark. He organised the children into teams and they took part in a range of obstacle-style games. While this session is great for keeping active and developing physical skills, it is just as important for building listening skills, following instructions, and paying attention. These are all key skills that the children are practising and developing through this kind of learning experience.
