Today we celebrated Pancake Day! The children enjoyed having pancakes for snack with butter and a little lemon juice. Activities like this help children explore tastes and textures, develop independence as they serve themselves, and enjoy trying something new together.
We also spent time outdoors making bird feeders to cheer the birds up with all the rain and wet weather. The children helped prepare and hang them on the fence, showing care for nature and developing their understanding of looking after living things.
