Our role play area has been transformed into a busy vets surgery! The children have been dressing up as vets and nurses, caring for our cuddly animals using stethoscopes, bandages and pretend medical tools. They have been taking turns as pet owners, describing what might be wrong with their animals and helping each other to make them feel better.
This imaginative play supports language development, encourages empathy and caring behaviours, and helps build confidence in social interactions. The children are enjoying asking questions, sharing ideas and working together to keep all the animals happy and healthy!
